Bailarín, actor, cantante y coreógrafo estadounidense, reconocido como uno de los más grandes bailarines de tap del siglo XX. Su talento le valió numerosos premios y nominaciones, y su trabajo ayudó a popularizar el tap en nuevas generaciones.

Comenzó a bailar tap a la edad de tres años y actuó profesionalmente a los cinco.
Fue nominado al premio Tony en cuatro ocasiones y lo ganó en 1992 por 'Jelly's Last Jam'.
