Christopher Nolan, of "Memento" fame, directed this taut and atmospheric crime thriller, a remake of a 1997 Norwegian film. Al Pacino is in top form as L.A. detective Will Dormer, who travels to a remote Alaska town to investigate a murder. Unable to sleep, the weary Dormer is drawn into an intense cat-and-mouse game with the sly and taunting killer. Robin Williams, Hilary Swank.
