Recuerdo que hace años, me asomé a la ventana de mi apartamento en 26 Street, Nueva York, y pude ver a Tommy Lee Jones y Will Smith filmando una escena fuera de la tienda de armas. Esta fue la película original / clásica ‘MIB’.
Echando un vistazo rápido a la película 'MIB International' (Director F. Gary Gray, Escritores Matt Holloway y Art Marcum), me perdí en la escena de apertura donde Chris Hemsworth (Agente H) y Liam Neeson (Alta T) están de pie fuera de la Torre Eiffel y Alta T dice: "Odio París". Lo siento, pero ¿cómo puede alguien odiar la ciudad del amor, el arte, la historia?
La trama principal de la película es salvar la Organización MIB del topo y la maldad de Riza (Rebecca Ferguson) y de Les Twins (Laurent y Larry Bourgeois). Es una trama que en mi opinión está muy mal concebida.
Entiendo la idea de traer a la pantalla a Chris Hemsworth y Tessa Thompson (Agente M) debido a su supuesta química en 'Thor'. Sin embargo, los cuatro actores que me mantuvieron despierta fueron Chris Hemsworth, Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall y Emma Thompson (Agente O).
Por cierto, creo que utilizaron todo el alfabeto al nombrar agentes para esta película. Tampoco vi el humor en el personaje Pawny (Kumail Nanjani), una pequeña pieza de ajedrez alienígena.
Sentí que las ideas de algunos de los personajes ficticios en 'MIB International' eran similares a los personajes de la película 'Gremlins'.
Los otros dos elementos que me mantuvieron despierta durante esta película, fueron los increíbles efectos especiales y las escenas tomadas en Marrakech y Londres.
Como resultado, supongo que este tipo de película llega a un cierto público y obtiene rastrillos en los más jovenes, pero realmente necesitamos ver que tomen mayores riesgos y encontrar material nuevo.
A esta película le doy 2/5 estrellas.

I remember years ago looking out my 26 Street, NYC apartment window to watch Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith being filmed in a scene outside the Armory. This was the original/classic ‘MIB’ film. Fast forward to
‘MIB International’ film (Director F. Gary Gray, Writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum), you lost me at the opening scene where Chris Hemsworth (Agent H) and Liam Neeson (High T) are standing outside the Eiffel Tower and High T says, “I hate Paris.” I am sorry but how can anyone hate the city of amor, art, history?!! The main plot of the film is to save the
MIB organization from a mole as well as evil such as Riza (Rebecca Ferguson) or Les Twins (Laurent and Larry Bourgeois). It is a plot that has gone badly wrong in my view.
I understand the idea of bringing Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson (Agent M) back to the screen due to their supposed chemistry in ‘Thor’, however, the four actors that kept me awake were Chris Hemsworth, Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall, and Emma Thompson (Agent O).
BTW, I think they used the whole alphabet when naming agents for this film! I also did not see the humor in the character Pawny (Kumail Nanjani) a tiny alien chess piece. I felt ideas for some of the fictional characters in ‘MIB International’ were similar to characters in the ‘Gremlins’ film.
The other two items that kept me awake during this film were the amazing special effects and scenes shot in Marrakech and London. As a result, I guess this type of film does reach a certain audience and rakes in the Benjamins but we really do need to take bigger risks and find new material.
