The Exchange

Awkward outcast Tim craves an in with the more popular crowd at school. Upon learning about the arrival of a French exchange student named Stéphane, Tim strives to befriend Stéphane and enhance his reputation. Yet contrary to Tim's misguided expectations, Stéphane proves to be anything but cool, sophisticated, and exotic, instead further hampering Tim's already poor social status.
