A struggling bookie takes bets on youth league baseball games to cover the debts he is owed after a streak of bad luck. Taking inspiration from the baseball team of his ex's son, he uses this dubious opportunity to make things better for himself, in turn exploiting the trust of almost everyone else along the way.
