Laura tiene veintidós años y es adoptada. Se crió con un policía ya fallecido y la mujer con la que vive. A partir del comentario de un compañero de facultad sobre las personas desaparecidas bajo el régimen militar, Laura comienza a sentir la necesidad de hurgar en su pasado, en busca de su propia identidad.
