Camilo emprende un viaje que lo llevara desde los cañaverales a Las Puertas del Cielo, un prostíbulo donde conocerá a Mecha. Allí despertara de su inconciencia en medio de las pasiones, intereses y violencia, que mueven el mundo del dinero y la política de la época.
